BOPP films are commonly used for food packaging, labels, and different industrial applications. Yes. All PennPac films are designed for direct food contact and meet or exceed all regulatory requirements and third-party audit needs for food safety.

Our Manheim, PA and Piedmont, SC facilities are certified with AIB International, the recognized leader in food safety standards. PennPac is committed to sustainability through our energy-saving and intrinsic recycle programs. We have several efforts in place to help reduce the impact of our work on the environment. This includes:

• Maintaining our less than 2% waste material generation
• Recycling as much waste material as possible
•  Continuing to keep energy usage low with 100% LED lighting and new HVAC and material handling equipment
• Researching/purchasing products with a lower environmental impact
• Using lower impact transportation methods whenever possible
• Avoiding paper usage whenever possible
• Recycling equipment that is no longer of use to the company
